Abubakari Belawu Mbangba
Founder, Visionary, and Unshamed African
Bio
Some people wait for change. Abubakari is change.
From the dusty farmlands of Ghana to global conversations on identity, pride, and healing, she has walked a path that most only read about. A former teacher turned full-time farmer, youth trainer, and project manager, Abubakari is proof that grit and grace can coexist. She is a cancer survivor, a builder of communities, and the living embodiment of Africa’s untold resilience.
Her work is not theory — it is hands in the soil, feet on the ground, and a heart that beats for people. Through DivaFam and now Unashamed Africa, she has provided clean water to villages, trained women and young people in sustainable farming, supported education in marginalised communities, and created platforms for African voices to be heard where they once were silenced.
She is the kind of leader you want in your corner — because she doesn’t just dream, she delivers. Her projects span nine countries, her words inspire movements, and her vision pulls others into a current too strong to ignore. People don’t just follow Abubakari; they align with her, because she represents something rare: a winning team with a cause bigger than ego.
To know her is to know that you have no excuse.
To work with her is to feel unstoppable.
To stand with her is to stand unashamed.
